TreloarPrint

I manage TreloarPrint, the print enterprise here at the College, and a couple of years ago one of my students (all of whom have significant disabilities) returned as a trainee for six months. In those six months he worked on various things including an interactive display to be loaded onto the InfoAktiv system. He designed this using PowerPoint, incorporating pre-set timings and loops and a lot of interactive buttons and hotspots. This work also enabled him to complete a ‘Presentation Software’ Level 2 NVQ unit. He was given a brief to create an interactive ‘advert and pricelist’ to be loaded onto the InfoAktiv system, which would then run continuously right at the front of our reception area – to create an eye-catching moving display and then a useful interactive resource for customers enquiring about prices.

This has now been running (and occasionally updated) over the last couple of years. The InfoAktiv system has proved itself to be a significant, reliable and useful resource for us as a growing enterprise and supported employer.
