Life Science Centre

Life Science Centre is the public face of Life attracting up to 300,000 visitors annually. They offer a changing programme of exciting exhibitions, events, workshops and theatre shows. Highlights include the 60 seater state-of-the-art planetarium, the region’s only 4D Motion Ride and interactive exhibits and activities for people of all ages and interests.

The science lab is a hands on exhibition zone and they have 10 InfoAktiv systems. Each system is attached to a workstation and provides step by step instructions for experiments. The experiments take around 10-15 minutes to complete and InfoAktiv is in full use during this time. The content is regularly changed – each time there is a new experiment – there is a new full set of instructions. The Project Manager said that in the 2 years that he has had the systems, they have never broken or fallen over. They have a footfall of about 60-70,000 visitors per annum and InfoAktiv is in constant use. He describes InfoAktiv as solid, reliable and flexible.
